Greetings from the Land of Bitburger Beer!!
We'll start with family.

Oh boy, what a crew we have here. From right to left is Lois, Jimmy, Terry (Dad), and Dennis. The house behind them is Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Teri's. I better not forget to mention to look at the beautiful flowers on each side courtesy of Aunt Teri. :)
This is the German Reichstag. I took the picture from the field in front of the Parliament building (same thing). Imagine in 1939 the masses of soldiers listening to the Fuhrer give one of his powerful speaches. Dad and I both could almost hear the sound of the soldiers' boots on the ground as we toured the area.
This is the headstone of General George S. Patton, Jr. The significance of this setting is that his grave is set facing the rest of the cemetery. His soldiers are facing him. A tribute to a General who is still watching over his men.
This is the entrance to the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial in Trier. The grounds are kept in surpurb condition and the memories from this visit will be with me forever. The individuals dwarfed by the wonderfully crafted gate are Aunt Lois on the right and myself on the left. General Patton's grave (pictured above) is located here.
This is Brandenburg Gate from what used to be East Berlin. The statue atop the gate was taken from Paris by Hitler during World War II.
