	i taped a piece of transparent plastic on the film gate as the ground glass. some Scotch tape was put on the lens side of it.
	the four set screws ont the focusing ring were loosened, and bcaked up the ring a bit, then re-tightened them. this was to ensure the helicoid would be able to reach the infinity point, without being blocked by the infinity stop before that point.
	after getting a clear image of a distant roof on the groundglass, i loosened the four set screws again, turned the focusing ring all the way to the infinity stop, and re-tighten them. focusing at 3 ft. was very close, if not right on.
