Nikki Finn (Madonna) has just been released on parole for a murder she has not
committed. She's to be sent back to her hometown, but Nikki has other plans - she
wants to clear her name. Loudon Trott (Griffin Dunne) has been sent out by his boss
to make sure Nikki gets straight to the bus that will take her to Philadelphia, but soon
the two of them is caught up in a string of adventures, involving car chases and a certain
 big 'cat'...
