There are many references to Christianity and Atheism on the Grobius Shortling web
pages. This site has been created in the spirit of fair play as a platform for Paganism.
It is in no way an in-depth study -- more along the lines of a basic primer. As the site
expands you should find enough information to whet your appetite for further study, or
not, as the subject takes you.

What is a Pagan? To Fundamentalists (of any religion), it is anybody who has a different religion from theirs. For the purposes of this page, however, the following are not pagans: Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Christians of any sort (RC, Voodoo, Mormon, etc.), Hindus (well, reluctantly excluded, because Shiva et al have all the attributes of pagan gods), Taoists -- in short, all the recognized established religions that can be considered tax-exempt under IRS laws. We are also going to exclude Atheists (of course), Satanists, Scientologists and people of that ilk, and Animists who worship trees and animals. |
What does that leave? Not much really. Apart from the neo-Pagans of current times (including some rather off-the-wall cults that can be found on the Internet), modern Druids, and adherents of Wicca or other arcane arts, a Pagan is a follower of one of the great dead religions. Click on one of the links at the left to see more. (Note that most of these pages are incomplete or not yet started.) In principle, the subjects are approached from the standpoint of books of fiction, since the author of this web site has no real interest in historical studies or theologial tomes in this area. |
