May 21, 2000 - Alien Ice Picktures finally admits defeat. The webmaster is just too busy to continue making webisodes or judging Action Caption for the foreseeable future. There will be one final Memorial Day Weekend Action Caption contest and then we're packing it in. We want to thank everyone who has visited the site, read the webisodes and participated in the Action Caption contests. It's been great and maybe we'll return to cyberspace in the future to wreak more twisted havoc..

February 8, 2000 - Alien Ice Picktures survives the new year and Y2K with a new webisode, "Gimme Shelter".

January 1, 2000 - Happy New Year! Alien Ice Picktures celebrates the new year with a new webisode, "BuffY2K Bug". Hope everyone had a great holiday season!

December 18, 1999 - Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Alien Ice Picktures and The X-Files Mytharc and Newsgroup Information Resource! In honor of the season, Alien Ice Picktures presents a new webisode - "A X-Mas Carol". Seasons greetings to everyone!

December 12, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures is celebrating the holidays with a series of new webisodes! The first webisode was posted today and will be followed by at least two more before the end of the year. Thanks to all Icepicktures visitors for a great year and don't forget, only 13 shopping days left before X-Mas!

October 31, 1999 - Happy Halloween, from Alien Ice Picktures! To celebrate, we present a new webisode conceived and written by a web adventure fan from Germany. Stop by and read I Know What You Did Last Season before you go out trick or treating!

August 8, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures features a new webisode this weekend - "A Trip to the Forest".

August 4, 1999 - One month since I've added a new webisode! I think it must be a sign of the apocalypse! But a new webisode has arrived and features a behind the scenes look at the shooting of an Ice Picktures webisode. Also, check out the latest additions at Action!Dating Online.

July 4, 1999 - Happy Fourth of July! A new webisode is featured at Alien Ice Picktures today. It's an adaptation from "Interview With The Vampire" starring Obi-Wan Kenobi and Fox Mulder. Check it out!

June 27, 1999 - This week is the one year anniversary of Alien Ice Picktures! Just scroll down for proof positive. To celebrate surviving one year, we gave out Ice Pick Awards to the best from the year's webisodes. Visit the Ice Picktures site to see the winners.

June 13, 1999 - It's almost been a month since I checked in. Things have been really busy. The Action Caption contest is still going strong and this week there are two new additions to the Alien Ice Picktures arsenal. Making use of my Star Wars: Episode I action figure purchases, the latest webisodes feature my recent acquisitions. Check out "The Phantom Outtakes" and "Pulp Action".

May 16, 1999 - In celebration of the Season Six finale of The X-Files, Alien Ice Picktures presents a new webisode, TITANIX. Fan-submitted and epic in proportions! Happy season finale!

May 10, 1999 - Finally, a new Ice Picktures webisode! It's another production spawned by a visitor suggestion. The webisode is called Judge Scully and features our red-headed agent filling in for Judge Judy. Thanks for your patience between new webisodes. A new one will be featured next week...I promise!

April 25, 1999 - With the new Star Wars flick less than a month away, the competition at Action Caption last week was hot and heavy. Check out the winners! With luck, Alien Ice Picktures will be producing at least one fan submitted idea as a new webisode next week. Be sure to check it out!

April 18, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures is currently working on producing some of the wonderful episode suggestions we've received since going online. "Come With Me..." was the first and this week Ice Picktures has a new episode, "Project Chia", which was also inspired by a visiting web adventurer.

April 4, 1999 - Happy Easter, Passover, Spring Holiday Weekend! Don't forget it's Daylight Savings Time today. Set your clocks ahead an hour or be late for work on Monday. Week 32 of the Action Caption contest is up today and a new issue of the ATXF NewsGrouper went online Friday (and will hopefully be on a Friday at Nine schedule from here on out). Until next week...

March 28, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures features a new webisode "Come With Me..." featuring the Terminator.

March 21, 1999 - Action Caption enters its 30th week of competition. Visit and submit your entry for this week's picture. Next week will most likely bring a new webisode at Alien Ice Picktures so check back for more bizarre humor.

March 14, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures is back with two new webisodes. "Disco Inferno" is a retrospective of some of the great hits of the seventies while "Tips For Monster Busting" is a tutorial by Special Agent Dana Scully on how to deal with monster menaces. Between those and the latest Action Caption picture, you should be busy for awhile. Also, at my satellite site, Issue 7 of the ATXF NewsGrouper is now online. Check out this XF News Parody webzine.

March 7, 1999 - Action Caption is back from its hiatus and Alien Ice Picktures will follow suit shortly with a new webisode. Thanks to all who have continued to submit entries in the Action Caption contest. Your participation is essential and I always have a great time reading through the submissions on Saturday night as I try valiantly to pick the winners. Week 27 had the largest number of entries yet, making the judging difficult. Check out the winners!

February 21, 1999 - Action Caption and Alien Ice Picktures will be on hiatus for a week. This week's Action Caption contest will run for two weeks so you have plenty of time to head over and submit an entry. New webisodes at Alien Ice Picktures should be featured on our return in March so be sure to stop by for a visit!

February 14, 1999 - Week 26 of the Action Caption contest features a picture with my favorite Tick guest character, Dinosaur Neil! Stop by and submit an entry. The ATXF NewsGrouper has its fifth issue online featuring an interesting account of the LA Xeminar event attended by X-Philes with guest speakers including writers, directors, cast and crew from The X-Files.

February 7, 1999 - A new webisode at Alien Ice Picktures this week. Scully faces her past and future selves in "The Three Faces of Scully". Also, the ATXF NewsGrouper had a special weekend edition with issues released on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check out this XF News Parody at the ATXF NewsGrouper.

January 31, 1999 - The Newbie Info Kiosk has been updated for 1999. Stop in and check out the information and links that can help new participants in the Usenet group alt.tv.x-files. Action Caption enters its 24th week of competition. Keep your eyes peeled for a new webisode next week. Also, for those of you who spend time on alt.tv.x-files or just X-philes in general, take a moment to check out a new project of mine. It's an online newspaper parody called the ATXF NewsGrouper.

January 24, 1999 - Alien Ice Picktures presents the first new webisode of 1999! Scully reveals her inner turmoil in "The Confession", written with the OBSSE in mind. Don't forget to visit Action Caption and submit an entry in our latest contest.

January 17, 1999 - Well, the grant proposal is in and I'm furiously trying to update the site. A new Action Caption picture is up and a new addition to the Ice Picktures site has been added. Updates on that section will continue into the evening. Hopefully a new webisode will be added next weekend as well!

January 10, 1999 - Few people know this but close on the heels of the holiday gift-giving season is the grant proposal-writing season. I am now in this midst of this less heralded season so the Ice Picktures updates will have to wait. I'm hoping to get a break next weekend to add a few new ones. Until then, feel free to drop by Action Caption and submit your caption for the latest picture.

January 3, 1999 - Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's celebration. Action Caption is cruising right into the New Year with its 20th round of competition. Make sure to stop by and submit your caption. If time permits, there will be some updates to the various sections of my site soon and more Ice Picktures webisodes as well. I'll keep you posted.

December 13, 1998 - Sixteen weeks of Action Caption! View the latest winners and join in the seventeenth week of the contest. Look for new Alien Ice Picktures webisodes next week, just in time for the holidays!

December 6, 1998 - See the Furby Action Caption results, where participants waxed eloquent about the similarities between Furby, Queequeg, and Frohike! Also, two new episodes at Alien Ice Picktures..."A Fat-Free Episode", featuring some Star Trek staples and "Mytharc Science Theater" where Mike and the bots take on The X-Files.

November 30, 1998 - After an extended holiday contest, Action Caption announces its Week 14 winners and introduces its audience to Furby!!

November 22, 1998 - Two new episodes at Alien Ice Picktures today. "The Wish-Files" featuring everyone's favorite Jack Russel Terrier, Wishbone, and a webisode especially for the Thanksgiving holiday. Week 14 of the Action Caption contest is underway and will be extended until next Sunday since I'll be out of town over the holiday. But hopefully it will be updated with a new pic and winners on Monday!

November 15, 1998 - Well, the premiere has aired and it's into Season Six we go. Meanwhile, don't forget to stop by and enter the latest Action Caption contest.

November 8, 1998 - It's premiere night! My apologies to those on varied continents who won't get season six for months but to celebrate, Ice Picktures has two new episodes: "When Superheroes Attack" and "Dinner and a Movie" (especially for the premiere). Action Caption goes into its twelfth week and will continue despite the end of the long hiatus. Also, Ice Picktures was fortunate enough to get a small feature in the Cyberscope section of Newsweek. The online and newstand November 9th issues had a small blurb and an accompanying picture. Cool!

November 1, 1998 - We've logged ten weeks at Action Caption. View all the winners and join in the Week 11 Contest at the Action Caption page. Also, check out Alien Ice Pickture's new FAQ and reference guide.

October 25, 1998 - Check out the Action Caption winners and the latest image for the Week 10 contest. Also, two new episodes in the Alien Ice Picktures web adventures. A rebellion of sorts plagues Mulder's dreams and Scully offers a lesson in DNA analysis!

October 18, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures was listed as a Yahoo! pick of the week which brought in lots of traffic and increased the number of Action Caption Contest participants. It was nearly impossible to pick the winners! Thanks to all who participated, especially the core group who've been along for the ride from the start.

October 11, 1998 - Action Caption logs seven weeks of competition! View the Week Seven winners and enter this week's contest.

October 3 1998 - New additions to Alien Ice Picktures! A cheesy theme song is reinterpreted plus two more webisodes, "A Study In Blue" and "Mentocity".

September 27, 1998 - Action Caption Week Five winners, where great minds thought alike! Swing, baby!!

September 20, 1998 - Check out the Action Caption Week Four winners featuring my favorite action figure picture to date. Also, Alien Ice Picktures updates its main page and adds two new episodes, "People Who Meet PEEPle" and "An Infomercial".

September 13, 1998 - Week Three winners posted for Action Caption contest. Due to major crash-induced problems regarding my computer at home, there are no additional Ice Picktures adventures. Hopefully, the computer fairies will soon smile upon me once again...

September 6, 1998 - Week Two winners posted for Action Caption contest. Also, a new Ice Picktures adventure entitled "Men in Black and Blue and Green" featuring MIB action figures.

August 30, 1998 - Action Caption announces its winners in the first round of competition and hopes for even more participation in the next round. Ice Picktures updates with "Land of the Giants".

August 22, 1998 - The introduction of a new weekly contest. Action Caption hosts a weekly contest to create the best caption for an image featuring the Mulder and Scully action figures. Join the contest! Also, updates to the general look of several areas including Lost Episode Reviews, Interview With An X-File, and BJR's Reviews.

August 16, 1998 - Ice Picktures updates with "A Boy and His Cow" and "The Mind of Mulder".

August 9, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures update. The agents find themselves on "A Legendary Journey" and discover the meaning of "Xenaphilia". Also, a B&W webisode - "The Hard-boiled Truth".

August 6, 1998 - Interview With An X-File finally hits the Yahoo search engine. It was a LONG and painful process but, with new readers, I might actually be inspired to write additional interviews. If you haven't checked them out, give it a read.

July 26, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures...new episodes. "Meet The Tick" where the agents team up with mighty blue justice and "A Musical Interlude" featuring a tune by the Partridge Family.

July 12, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures update. New episode added: "Mr. Orange and Mr. Green."

June 28, 1998 - The X-Files Mytharc and Newsgroup Info main page gets a new look. If you absolutely hate it, I'm leaving the old main page as oldindex.htm. Feel free to revert. Also, Alien Ice Picktures bows to popular opinion (and multiple requests) and attempts MSR (Mulder/Scully romance) and Slash!

June 25, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures presents "A Day In The Life" and "An Invitation To Dance".

June 23, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures presents "Taking the Fifth and Sixth".

June 22, 1998 - Alien Ice Picktures goes online. McFarlane Toys released the action figures from The X-Files movie and I got my hands on them before they sold out. I had plans for them and AIP, Productions is the result. "Eggplant 9 From Outer Space" is just the beginning...

June 16, 1998 - Finally updated the "Ketchup" synopses through season five. Just in time for the movie release.
