i hate genesis.
and, in honesty, i created a peter gabriel page on a whim.
i admire this man though. what's not to?
so damn unique, plus phil collins stole his voice,
i hate phil collins, well,
that's a lie, he's got a few decent songs,
enough to buy the greatest hits,
but this isn't phil collins page, is it?

i suppose, instead of being somewhat negative
it would be beneficial to describe
just what i like about peter
(or at least his music).
first, of course,
i think the above song is probably
one of the more gorgeous songs ever composed.
'in your eyes' is so true,
however the music is almost
afro-new romantic.
pretty cool.

on top of that,
as if the first verse of that song
wasn't enough to merit a web page,
he composed and preformed on the soundtrack to
one of my favorite movies ever,
the last temptation of christ.
he had the guts to do a movie with that name,
and he had the guts to make it one
of the greatest soundtracks of all time.

sure, i like gabriel.
yeah, he's a genius,
and i read somewhere that VAST, a one man catholic goth
group was the first to incorporate
middle eastern sounds in popular music.
i think the reviewer should listen to passion...

if you don't know all the words to 'in your eyes,' shame on you!
