Macross Plus Inc. PeopleSoft DBA.  Primarily responsible for multiple MS SQL Servers and application servers hosting PeopleSoft applications, secondly, backup for SAP DBA.  Duties include database administration, PeopleSoft administration, hardware troubleshooting, and end user client implementation, installation and programming.  Also responsible for the Resumix database server and application servers, which accepts resumes that are faxed.  The Resumix server processes this data into a searchable database.

• Self taught PowerBuilder and became involved in a Y2K project that involved re-creating an in-house program that was originally written in HyperCard for the Macintosh Apple.  Oracle was the new backend database while developing in PowerBuilder as the front-end client application for Windows.

Duties and projects seem to involve more and more database development and user interface programming ranging from Visual Basic programming to MS Access programming and to Business Objects programming stressing SQL programming with the goal to incorporate these projects as on-line applications as well.

• Continuing with Cold Fusion development on an online training project.  Lead the team to develop an on-line recruiting training intranet application web site, enhanced with multimedia effects.  Presented the user with presentations, which afterwards, questions were presented, to answer.  Incorrect answers and progress along the training procedure were tracked with security to prevent any workarounds.
• Began an intranet application in late 1995 to enable internal users to query and download corporate statistical data that was enhance in the 2^nd half of 1997. Upper management was impressed and decided to expand on this data source to include some other companies within Schlumberger (i.e. Anadrill, Dowell) and create a cross-company reporting and statistical engine. The choice was to use Business Objects (BO) as the OLAP, interface, and reporting engine as the server. I was involved with its development using MS SQL Server 6.5, Visual Interdev for database development, and BO. Responsibilities included architecture recommendations, requirements gathering, design development, data transformation specifications, and documentation.
• Managing the creation of a network application using MS Access 97 and MS Office 97 Developer Edition Tools.  Developed a client/server application to sync with data being retrieved from an on-line interface via the internet and within an office environment.
• Continued use with NT 3.x, 4.0 Servers and Workstations, MS SQL Server, MS Access, and Visual Basic.  Also began to implement Linux web servers for development.
