MONDAY RESULTS SHUFFLE THE PACK
1
Two Monday TDs had a significant impact on the standings going into week 14. Talbot 57 Berger-Browell 50
John Taylor scored sending PEIL into a 39-39 tie with Jones-Klingman. The tie Czupryna 37 Deitrich 10
did nothing for PEIL, he still finished 14, but J/K dropped three spots to 6th. Jones-Klingman 39 Peil 39
The other touchdown, a fumble return by New Orleans D/ST, sent Ricker into 4th, Ricker 30 Best 24
but had strong implications up top. Although BERGER/BROWELL and BEST has Wallace 70 Jackson 37
previously wrapped up byes, the game Monday was for money - a difference of Outlaw 51 Gates 31
about 50 dollars in regular season bonuses. The fumble cost Best a shot at Stroupe 36 Montgomery 10
first, which he would of had if he had beaten Ricker, but instead the return
was the difference in the 30-24 decision. The irony goes deeper. It was Best's Playoff round 1
player, Ricky Watters, carrying the ball inside the 10, going for a TD, who OUTLAW vs PEIL
fumbled to Ricker's Defense who returned for a score. Best's last three games RICKER vs MONTGOMERY
- all splinter squads - went down to the wire on Monday, each more frustrating GATES vs WALLACE
than the previous one. JONES/KLINGMAN vs TALBOT
DEITRICH vs JACKSON
OUTLAW got the third seed without breaking a sweat on Monday. He had a 10 point STROUPE vs CZUPRYNA
lead over Gates going into the Gate. The only chance Gates might of had to make
interesting was dashed by a Mario Bates TD, ironically set up by a pass from CHICAGO AT MINNESOTA THU 8:00
Gate's QB to his receiver, Wesley Walls. The final was 51-31. A couple of teams DALLAS AT PHILADELPHIA SUN 1:00
going south fast met in week 13, with Stroupe able to right himself for a 8 seed NEW YORK JETS AT NEW ENGLAND 1:00
by beating MONTGOMERY 36-9. CZ played his way into a match with STROUPE as a 9 PITTSBURGH AT CINCINNATI 1:00
seed by beating Bud 37-10. WASHINGTON AT TAMPA BAY 1:00

107 was the magic number in two games. One was a 57-50 TALBOT over B/B game. ***** LEAGUE PARTY AT PEILS 4PM *********
B/B was down 36 going into Monday, and got back 29. B/B still backed into first ARIZONA AT HOUSTON 4:00
place based on the Best/Ricker fumble game. The other 107 game was a 70-37 DENVER AT KANSAS CITY 4:00
thrashing of JACKSON by WALLACE. It looked like we may not get a score in the ATLANTA AT SAN FRANCISCO 4:00
70s this year for the first time since 1988. The game was a foregone INDIANAPOLIS AT SEATTLE 4:00
