It seems that, little by little, John Ottman goes increasing his spectrum as composer, although his facet as film editor is bounded exclusively to the collaborations with his friend Bryan Singer. For this typical terror film, with included an enormous animal, Ottman tries not to fall in the topics of the gender mashing the hearings of the respectable one with strident chords and tense passages, offering instead a compact and vibrant work, very typical of his style and of an undeniable attractiveness, with a certain air to music from another times; proves of it is its vibrant main theme (Main Title) or cues of more incidental tone as Here He Comes!.
