We had divided our page on six sections, on which we considered you'll find all the necessary basic information related to the Austrian-born composer:
Biographical Profile: Does not pretend to be an exhaustive and detailed biography, but a brief overview of his life.
Record Reviews: Direct links to all reviews on bs magazine files related to works of any genre.
Catalogue & Discography: Here you'll find a big catalogue of Korngold's works, on which there are all his published works with Opus number, all his film scores and operetta arrangements, and those works without opus number who are available on record. On each included work, there are historical and reference data, as well the most exhaustive discography of each title on CD and LP which we were able to access, sortened by its recording date. Any added data or correction will be welcomed.
Opinions & Comments: An open space to your opinions and ideas, on which we will include texts which we find relevant or curious.
Bibliography: A list of all those bibliographical publications which we had notice. As time goes by we will include detailed reviews of them.
Links: Internet information on Korngold, sadly and incredibly, is not specially huge; here you have some of the more interesting direct links.
Anyway, and like the rest of the sections of our magazine, the included information will not be considered as closed, but will be conveniently updated and expanded.
