Hailey was
able to enjoy being a member of the Caterpillar Club
at our church this past Fall and Spring. She finished the first year
and has two more to go. This year she studied several of God's little
creatures. In addition to spending time with friends, making crafts
and eating dinner at the church, Hailey also learned a lot about God.
Here are the following verses that she learned...

Stilts
the Stick Bug
I may look
like a stick on the outside... but I'm really a bug! I remind
kids that God knows us inside and out.
Key Verse:
Psalm 139:1 "Oh
Lord, you have searched me and you know me."
Arnold
Ant You
might think I look tiny, but ants can lift fifty times their body
weight! I'll help kids realize that we may be small, but God can
help us with mighty problems. Key
Verse: Psalm 121:1-2 "I
lift up my eyes to the hills - where does my help come from? My
help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."

Buddy
Bee Bees
guide other bees to sources of nectar, and they work hard to make all
that sweet honey. I want kids to know that God is a friend who
guides us and is always working to take care of us. Key
Verse: Psalm 23:1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in
want."

Betty
Butterfly I
used to be a caterpillar, but boy have things changed! I'll show
kids that when God forgives us, our hearts can change too! Key
Verse: Psalm 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a
steadfast spirit within me."

Angelica
Firefly I'm
glowing with news about God's love! Like other fireflies, I use my
light to communicate and stay safe. I'm a good reminder that God
shows us how to love others. Key
Verse: Psalm 145:8 "The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to
anger and rich in love."
Next
year the Caterpillar Club will be going deep into the ocean... that
sounds very exciting!
