"Darien! Darien!"
Sailor Mini-Moon shook Darien's arm and called his name.
"It's no use," cackled Nehelenia. "He won't wake up. He can't be freed
from the curse unless the piece of mirror is removed from his eye and
even I can't do that." |
Sailor Saturn threatened
Nehelenia with the Silence Glaive. "You think you got here
because of your own power," scoffed Nehelenia. "You are just the
final pieces to make the White Moon Princess suffer!" Sailor
Mini-Moon's body began to fade in and out. |
Sailor Saturn remembered Sailor
Pluto's warning that the future was changing. A sudden surge of
swirling energy from Nehelenia blinded Sailor Saturn for a moment then
Nehelenia was gone. Only a blank mirror remained where she had
stood.

"It's awful!" exclaimed
Artemis. "What's happened?" asked Luna and Diana. Artemis
said that people all throughout the city who had gotten the mirror
shards in their eyes were now trapped and paralyzed inside of mirrors
and reflections. Artemis said it was all part of Nehelenia's
curse. "Will they make it by dawn," wondered Luna aloud as she
looked off into the pre-dawn sky. "We have to believe in Serena and the
others," replied Artemis. "I wonder how Serena is managing,"
worried
Luna.

Serenacontinued to force her way
through the thorns covering the long path to Nehelenia's Castle.

"Please wake up," begged Sailor
Mini-Moon.
"Do you hate me?" Nehelenia's voice floated lazily through the
room. Sailor Saturn stood on guard. "Use your hate to kill me but
the curse will still remain," laughed Nehelenia. Sailor Mini-Moon
continued to encourage Darien. "If this continues,
I'll disappear...". Sailor Mini Moon began to cry.

Slowly, Darien's frozen eyes
began to flicker. Sailor Saturn noticed immediately. "Call
to him more!" she shouted to Mini-Moon.
|
Nehelenia appeared in one of the
floating mirrors and frowned. A beam
of dark energy came out from the mirror and entered into Darien's
eye.
The dark energy also shocked Sailor Mini Moon. |
Sailor Saturn intercepted.
"Silence Wall!" |

Darien returned to his comatose
state. Sailor Mini-Moon was devastated. Nehelenia
re-materialized futher down the room. "I will take away
everything that the White Moon Princess loves," lectured Nehelenia,
"her boyfriend, her friends, even the Earth!"

"If you won't lift this curse,"
replied Sailor Saturn, "then I have no choice. By erasing you I will
remove the source of this evil and end this curse. I will unleash
Sailor Saturn's true power - the power of destruction."

Nehelenia laughed. "Do you think
I don't know? If you use that power you will be destroyed too. If
you think you can do it, then just try."
"That is my duty," replied Sailor Saturn.
