CHRISTMAS TREE CAVE



Christmas Tree Cave is located in Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The hike to the cave takes about an hour and a half from the parking area. A 20-foot vertical entrance can be negotiated with a handline for the experienced caver. A safety is suggested during ascent and descent. The cave consists of one large chamber which is developed on two levels. The cave is named after a unique formation which looks like a Christmas Tree. ENJOY THE PHOTOS!
