The Harp Consort Carolan's Harp Andrew Lawrence-King & The Harp Consort. Deutsche Harmonie Mundi 05472-77375-2. 25 tracks; 77'51". Carolan's Harp sounds just like the performance reviewed in this issue--but better. It features a slightly larger ensemble with additional instruments. One friend--a professional early music player--says that it includes the sexiest shawm playing she's ever heard. Nice clear sound and excellent liner notes include the words for all songs top off a grade A album.
