Alaniz Marlene Elsie
Marlene Elsie Alaniz of Denver, a homemaker, died March 14. She was 58. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. There was cremation. She was born June 19, 1938, in Denver. On Oct. 12, 1985, she married David M. Alaniz. Marlene Alaniz attended South High School in Denver. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Timm Guern and Mark Clymer, both of Denver; two daughters, Renae Clymer, Denver and Robin Alaniz, Aurora; a sister, Dorothy Riedel, Denver; two brothers, David Peachey, Denver and Jack Peachey, New Mexico; and five grandchildren.

LEESBURG, Fla. -- Betty Lee Clemmer Allen, 70, of Leesburg died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, after a long illness. She was a native of Blue Creek, W.Va., and was retired from First Federal Savings & Loan.
Surviving: sons, Terry of Ocala, David of Leesburg, Jeff of Tavares; daughters, Jayne Allen of Wildwood, Becky McDaniel of Leesburg; mother, Osie "Kitty" Jordan of Leesburg; brother, Bob Clemmer of Leesburg; 10 grandchildren. Service was Feb. 3, 1998, at Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg, with the Rev. Allen Speegle officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg

(Nee Clymer). A lifelong resident of Haddonfield, born on November 24, 1926, passed away early on November 16, 2002 due to natural causes.
She is survived by 4 beloved children: John A. Berry of Honolulu, Hawaii, David T. Berry of New York City, NY, Kimberly Berry of Kennebunk, ME, and Peter M. Berry of Amherst, NH; and 4 loving grandchildren: Clymer, Erin, Caroline and Suzanne Berry.
Mrs. Berry, a lover of the ocean and the beach, was also a longtime resident of Spray Beach, Long Beach Island, NJ.
The gathering time for Mrs. Berry will be announced at a later date.

BAKER, Dorothy marie (Clymer)
Dorothy Marie (Clymer) Baker, 74, of Locust Grove, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in her home. She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Clymer, and the widow of William E. Baker. Mrs. Baker was a retired lab technician for American Hoechst Co.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara J. Santostefano of Albrightsville and Nancy A. Sandford of Locust Grove; a son, Robert A. of Scottsville, Va.; three sisters, Emma Fritzinger, Anna Stewart and Grace Tiglio, all of Pennsylvania; five brothers, Marshall, Nelson, Martin, Mevlin and Raymond Clymer, all of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alma Hendricks. Memorial services will be held in Pennsylvania on a later date. Laurel Hill Funeral Home, Spotsylvania, Va., is in charge of the arrangements.

She was a native of Gaston County, daughter of the late John Martin and Esther Kiser Clemmer, wife of the late William F. Ballard, retired from Klear Knit, longtime member of Bowling Green First Baptist Church.

BAUMAN, Viola (Mrs. Norman M.) - Peacefully, on Saturday, November 16, 2002, at her home in Hawkesville. Viola (Clemmer) Bauman, in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late Norman M. Bauman (1990). Loving mother of Leonard and Elsie Bauman of RR 1, St. Jacobs, Robert and Loreen Bauman of Elmira, Margaret and Elam Brubacher of Hawkesville, Cecil and Ruth Anne Bauman, Darrell and Karen Bauman, all of Hawkesville. Loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Vernon (Mary) Clemmer, Ermina (Earl) Frey, Lloyd (Minerva) Clemmer, Vera (Wilfred) Martin, Loreen (Glen) Schreiber. Predeceased by her parents, Leander and Lovina Clemmer and two brothers, Cleason and Abner Clemmer. Frances L. Bedford, 87, of Augusta died Friday, March19, 1999, in Battle Creek Health System. She was born May 11, 1911, in Lansing to Sanford M. and Holo E. (Heinbaugh) Clymer. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1929. She was employed as a secretary by Bill Bedford's Auto Body for 20 years, retiring in 1995. Surviving are a son, William S. Bedford of Augusta; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan. K. Bedford in 1955; and a son Jack V. Bedford in 1999.
Community involvement/hobbies: Member of the Church of the Resurrection. Enjoyed knitting, golf and bowling.
Visitation: After 10 a.m. Sunday at Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery.

BRYAN - Bonneita E. Buntain, 86, Bryan, died Sunday afternoon in her home. She was born Oct. 9, 1914, in Portageville, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Grace (Goodman) Clymer. She married Charles Buntain, who died in 1997. She worked at Bryan Thread Factory for 13 years and had been a press operator at Bryan Custom Plastics for 25 years. She was a member of New Hope Community Church, Bryan.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin of Bryan and L. Wayne, Evansport; two daughters, Janet Buntain-Funk and Mrs. Joe (Sharen) Nisley, both of Bryan; a brother, Bernard Clymer, Liberty Center; and 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death was a great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rice Funeral Home, Bryan, with Rev. Ernest Bellela officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery, Bryan. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Preferred memorials are to the church or Community Hospitals of Williams County's Hospice.

The funeral for Dorothy C. Cady will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Conger Morris Chapel, Medford. Pastor Scott Cady, of the Chico Seventh-Day Adventist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Gridley-Briggs District Cemetery, Gridley, Calif.
Mrs. Cady, 92, of Medford, died Sunday (Dec. 5, 1999) at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Service Center, 1900 Greenwood, Medford, OR 97504. She was born Dorothy C. Clymer on Oct. 24, 1907, in Holly, Mich. She was a resident of the Rogue Valley for more than 40 years. On Sept. 6, 1952, in Medford, she married Harold Cady, who died in August 1982.
Mrs. Cady was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Medford Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Lucille Tryon, Phoenix, Betty Hayward, Central Point, and Edith Miller, Bradenton, Fla.; two sons, Milton, Central Point, and Victor, Gridley, Calif.; two sisters, Ruth Wyant, Medford, and Gertie Salmon, Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Clymer.

Verna L. Clark Clemmer, 54, a lifelong resident of Point Marion, Pa., died unexpectedly Saturday, January 25, 2003 at her home.
Born March 1, 1948 in Morgantown, West Virginia, she was a daughter of Svea Renstrom Clark of Point Marion and the late Robert Burdell Clark.
She was raised in the Point Marion Methodist Church and was a 1966 graduate of Albert Gallatin Senior High School.
She was formerly employed as a Clerk at Unomart and as a Receptionist for Rosnick Collision Auto Parts both in Point Marion.
Verna spent many years serving as a School Crossing Guard in Point Marion and enjoyed reading and crocheting in her spare time.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, William B. Clemmer; three daughters: April Sheninger of State College, Pa., Gai Clemmer and her partner, J'nise Ramsey, of Flint, Michigan, and Shai McGowan and her husband, Erol, of State College; a grandson, Zachary McGowan; and four in-laws: Phyllis Jacobs, Jackie Rae Rosnick, Bernard Clemmer and Thomas Neil Dunham.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, 501 Morgantown Street, Point Marion, Pa., on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 29, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Rev. R. Scott Teets officiating.

Eva M. Cole, 86, of Kilbourne, died Thursday (Aug. 10, 2000) at her daughter's residence. She was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Warren, to Mercia (Simmons) Clymer and Charles Clymer. Mrs. Cole was a 43-year resident of Kilbourne.
She is 'survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Clara and William Hilton of Marengo, Mary Cole of Kilbourne, Susan Jane Cole of Lewis Center and Debra and Bruce Weiser of Kilbourne; six sons and five daughters-in-law, Jacob and Janice Cole of Delaware, Charles and Jackie Cole of Pageland, S.C., David and Freda Cole of Sunbury, Stephen and Susan Cole of Kilbourne, Gary Cole of Delaware and Jon and Rebecca Cole of Cardington; a stepson, Carl Cole of Sunbury; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Clymer and Roy Clymer, both of Columbus; and a sister, Ruth Bachelor of Croton.
Her husband, Jacob Cole, died June 28, 1959. She also was preceded in death by infant sons Robert and Michael, and three sisters, Estelene Taladay, Beatrice Miller and Betty Sells.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home, Delaware, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 n.m. CONRAD, Reba (CLEMMER)
Reba Theola Conrad, 83, of Grand Island died Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Lebensraum Retirement Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Apfel-Butler-Geddes Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Rice officiating. Burial will be in the Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lebensraum Retirement Home.
Mrs. Conrad was born on August 19, 1918, in Butler County to Raymond and Geulian (Want) Clemmer. She attended rural elementary schools in Butler County and graduated from David City High School in 1935. She married Ray August Conrad on Feb. 8, 1935, at Plattsmouth. The couple lived in David City until 1948, when they moved to Shelby. They moved in 1950 to Osceola, where they ran the Osceola Hardware and Appliance Store until the late 1950s. They spent their winters in Arizona until her husband's death in 1985. Mrs. Conrad moved to Grand Island in 1986 to be closer to her family. She and her cat, J.R., moved to Lebensraum Retirement Home in September 2000 due to Mrs. Conrad's failing health. Mrs. Conrad enjoyed playing bridge and her volunteer work at St. Francis Medical Center and the American Red Cross bloodmobile. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Volunteers at St. Francis Medical Center, Rebekah Truth Lodge 132, Rebekah Circle, Past Nobel Grands, Three Links and AARP Chapter 635.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-laws, Jack and Bonnie Conrad of Albion and Gary and Joyce Conrad of Sun Lakes, Ariz., and Sterling, Alaska; a daughter and son-in-law, Dee Anna "Dee" and Glen Hinkle of Grand Island; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Morris Clemmer of Squim, Wash. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter and one brother, James L. Clemmer.
