What's New at Mott's

Mott's, (Duffy-Mott), owned by Cadbury- Schweppes, and Duncan Hines have joined forces to promote the later companies reduced fat bakery products. Duncan Hines is owned by Aurora Foods. Aurora also includes in its portfolio such well-known brands as Van de Kamps, Mrs. Paul's, Celeste and, interesting, the pancake triumvirate of Mrs. Butterworth's, Log Cabin and Aunt Jemima.

You can expect to see a new Get It All logo on Duncan Hines products along with recipes for deserts using Mott's apple sauce. Cadbury - Schweppes is a name well known to Ocean Spray growers.

In 1968 Cadbury - Schweppes acquired bottling rights to both Ocean Spray and Welch's in Canada.

In 1976 Cadbury - Schweppes entered the first in a long series of business arrangements with Coca-Cola when they franchised with Coke to bottle Schweppes in Canada.

In 1987 they joined with Coke in a new venture company in Great Britain, and in 1998 sold a 51% interest to Coke. Click here for more information about this $1.85 billion deal.

The company has also owned Dr. Pepper / 7Up since 1995.
