They lived in what is now the Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center, Clybel Farms. They lived almost on the Newton County line. I believe his brother William L. Shepherd lived in Newton County. Does anyone know anything about this Shepherd line?

He was born: 1846 in Henry Co. I believe his Father was A.J. BOWDEN. It shows in the 1850 Census an A J BOWDEN, wife M.A. BOWDEN, and it shows W.A. BOWDEN as 4 years old.
