Everything is all Right has been trying to bring information of NIN to the internet for almost a year now, and we have decided to add this part for all of the people who would like to know more on the others in the band besides Trent. Because of the very limited info on them, we will add it as it is learned.
This was the band as of 1996. It has changed it's line up many times over the years. Since 96' some members have left, leaving basically Trent and Lohner as the band. For the next album, Trent will probably bring some friends to help in the recording and touring as he has always done.
Trent Reznor formed nine inch nails back in the eighties'. He wanted a band that was not so common amongst most bands that were around. His idea for a tech no oriented band prompted him to start NIN.
Trent has helped many bands in his career. Included in his resume are the bands 'Marilyn Manson' (on his record label), and David Bowie who he has remixed his song "I'm afraid of Americans" off of Earthling. He also helped Bowie on 'The Hearts Filthy Lesson'. Trent sung along with Tori Amos on her 'Under the Pink' album, helped KMFDM on their release 'Light', and Prick. He has also formed a different band named "Tapeworm" which should have it's first release out in 98' This group as far as we know will be more rock orientated.
As far as credits go, Trent, and Vrenna were the only people involved in actually making the first Nine Inch Nails releases. There are a few others mentioned in the remixing and contributions sections (Flood, Adrian Sherwood, and Keith Leblanc) but otherwise maily it was them 2.
Broken brought in a few new faces to the band such as Martin Atkins R.I.P (?)(Drums), Richard Patrick, Jeff Ward, and James Woolley (Keyboard).
The Downward Spiral brought yet more people to the band to perform. Adrian Belew, Stephen Perkins, Danny Lohner, Andy Kubiszewski, and Robin Finck. Some of these members are more prominent than others, but all added to TDS in their own way.
