Kalora Dobermans was established in 1990. Our foundation dog Ch Meroke's Sandalwood V Phantom LC "Woody" and bitch Meroke's I'm In Trouble Again WAC BFL1 LC13 "Trouble" which were both purchased from the late Carol Shipley of Meroke Dobermans are both line bred on some of the most influential dogs in our bred. Our lineage is bases on the wonderful Tess Hensler Vom Arhtal Kennel. Kalora Dobermans are bred for health, longevity, temperment and conformation. Our dogs are intelligent and are excellent family companions. We have produced many American Champions and many Canadian Champions. We have also produced multiple obedience titled dogs, Schutzhund titled dogs, Best Of Breed Winners, Group Winners, DPCA Award of Merit Winners and Registered Award of Merit Winners, and DPCA Best Puppy. Many of our dogs have received their Longevity certiificates and their Bred for Longevity certificates.

Our original kennel name was "Phantom" we produced only one litter under that kennel name from our foundation dog and bitch. We stopped using the kennel name after we out that someone else started breeding under it and we would not be able to register it with the AKC. We deceided on "KALORA" the K is from my husband's first name Keith and ALORA is my daughter's name. It has recently come to our attention that someone in Australia is now breeding Dobermans and Corgi's using the Kalora Prefix. Please let us stress something important KALORA is a AKC Registered and Protected Kennel Name the only people that may be breed AKC registered dogs under that Kennel name is us Estelle & Keith Corr and our daughter Alora. WE ARE THE OFFICAL KALORA DOBERMANS AND ARE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES IN THE STATE OF NY. Every dog we have ever breed goes back to our foundation dam Meroke's I'm In Trouble Again WAC BFL1 LC13 "Trouble" if you do not see her name in the pedigree we didn't breed it. Only one Doberman has ever left our home uncropped unfortunatley that wonderful puppy left this world 8 months after he arrived, he was born premature and suffered from a wide range of birth defects because he was premature, so if it isn't cropped it isn't ours.

We have have had the pleasure of learning from some of the breeds best people of course the lady that started us the late Carol Shipley of Meroke Dobermans, and Linda Krukar of Dabney Dobermans.

My husband Keith and I live in NY with our 15 year old daughter 5 dobermans. My daughter Alora is active in horse showing and is huge help with the Dobermans. We are proud of every dog we have ever bred. And we believe that "EVERY DOG IS A CHAMPION AT HEART"!!!

Over the recent years I have not attended allot of dog shows or showed allot of my own dogs full time the shows are well selected now. Most of my free time is spent with my daughter traveling to horse shows. Horses are her passion so I have taken some time off from what I love to be a part of what she loves. You only get one chance to raise your children and this is my chance. My daughter is my world and I am sure it's the same way for all parents and their children. Out of our recent litters some of our best puppies have ended up in great show homes and in wonderful companion homes when show homes weren't available. We have limited what we kept in our home letting some of our best dogs go to people that had the time to show them to their full potential. So while you may not always see me ringside you will still see our dogs. I am thankful to all my show homes because they have allowed me to share my time between Alora's horse activities and my hobby and love for the breed. I will have plently of time to return full time to the hobby I love when Alora is in college. But for now I will do my best to juggle both hobbies to the best of my ability. I am also in process of finishing my requirements to obtain my provisional judges license. I few select top show prospect puppies from our recent litters will be shown including "Brea" she is the first red show bitch we have kept since our "Tequila".

All Dobermans living or staying with us at KALORA are cared for by Dr. Margaret B. Ullmann, DVM at the Veterinary Center Of East Northport. She is a amazing vet and gives all our dogs the best care possible.
