My Family
The American Heritage
Dictionary defines "Family" in this way:
The most instinctive, fundamental social or mating group
in man and animal, especially the union of man and woman through marriage
and their offspring; parents and their children. WOW, I need to purchase
a much newer dictionary. That definition seems a bit outmoded as
we come to the new millennium. However, this definition fits when describing
the photographs you will find on this web page.
I know folks that are stumbling across this page by purely
accidental coincidence are saying, "I don't want to see a bunch of pictures
of someone's family that I don't even know." Well, feel free to immediately

This Page is Dedicated With Love to My Parents
The photography here was taken over the years, and some do
go back to the 50's and 60's. When I told my family members that I would
be including pictures of them, I kept hearing a common theme, "Just don't
embarrass me". Now I ask you, would a child EVER try to embarrass
their parents?
Included in these photos are my mother and father as well
as their respective spouses. I also was lucky enough to find pictures
of my Grandparents as well. Many of these photos seem to also have
additional members in them, the children. But as we saw by the dictionary
definition, parents and children just seem to go hand-in-hand.
So, Without Further Ado....

This picture was taken on their 40th wedding anneversary in 1964.
This is one of the few pictures I have of both Grandma's together.
Of course that is also me and Mike.The year is about 1974.
