A father's love is like a harbor,
Providing refuge from the stormy seas.
Tethered by an unbreakable cord,
pointing our ship northward,
toward the continent of righteousness,
A stronghold against the day of trouble.
He hoists the sail
Away from the winds of perdition,
So we his children may sail smoothly on.

Today we celebrate Father's Day,
To all father's who tended to us with your love,
We pay this tribute.
In gratitude for your protection and love,
For your stable enduring smile,
Your stalwart ways,
and the provisions of each day.
and to you Dad we say,
Thanks for leading the way!
