BAKER, ROBERT HALL, manufacturer, was born June 27,
1839, in Lake Geneva, Wis. Through an acquaintance with
the late Jerome I. Case, manufacturer of threshing machines,
Mr. Baker was finally induced to become a partner in Mr.
Case's firm, and he remained successfully engaged in that
business until death. He was state senator of Wisconsin in
1872-76, and mayor of Racine in 1874
