Take a Look at this one Hey did I tell you about Barbara Wright? Well she collects old mining tools and displays them next to a tourist photo booth outside of her BJW Mining and Gifts shop in Hope, Alaska.They are pretty nice folks there and they will give you some good advice on where to try your luck in the area. Me and my burro Dusty visited there once and they were really nice, they had some pretty nice gifts too. Well I tried the area and didn't do to bad but you can't find much in hour and a half, espically if your new to the area. But me and my burro Dusty had to move on to other areas, because we don't usually stay to long in the tourist areas, as they get to crowded. Beside me and my burro Dusty, we like our peace, so we can here the sounds of nature. Like the sound of a creek running past, and the birds singing, and we don't have the noise of the gold dredges, that a lot of these tourist use. Besides the more we move the more people we meet. Me and my burro Dusty we have a place we like, up in Hatcher's Pass Alaska, after all, we are not out to get rich, we're just out to enjoy ourselves and relax, in the peace and quite, or as quite as it gets in nature.
