Hi!! My name is Helen Marie Anne Rich Matera Coleman you may call me Lynn.
I also answer to Courtjester, MA!! and Grandma :0)
I cannot tell you how excited I have been since finding out that I was invited
join this group at the Rosegarden.
What my goals are for this time spent in your midst?? It
is to mother anything that is not nailed down!! LOL
My Qualifications *grin* are that, I have raised 5 children, who are at this point in time
are all gainfully employed, upstanding citizens. The boys have served in the military
( my oldest is career and still in the Army :0) ). My other 2 sons were in the Marines and Navy.
At one point I had a newborn,a one year old, and a 3 ,4 and 5 year old all at the
same time!! I have this saying..If I can do this I can do anything! I had my first baby at 20 and never had brothers or sisters at home. I was raised as an only child and did not know how to cook, clean or which end of the kid the diaper went on!!
I helped raise three of my five grand children when I was needed. I was also
foster mother, as a Registered Nurse, to 22 drug babies (4 newborns on
heart monitors at a time.)I did day care respite for an additional 25 children, all with birth defects.
I am currently an R.N. for a wonderful Retirement Estate in Ruston, Wa. and I love my work with the elderly. I am practicing for a bed :0)
I was previously married to my children's father for 16 years. I have been
remarried for 20 additional years. (More bio on my page "All About Me")
It has been said I am a great cook. I have had innumerous pets.. I used to
sew, I can knit, I used to be great at golf and tennis, was a teacher of English
riding for a bit, bowl a mean game, like to preserve food.....Let me see...do I
qualify yet?? LOLOLO
I have been naughty and nice, crazy and sane, and at all times 100 % woman.
Love to sing, love to dance, love to love. I have an Irish temper and had a load of
low self esteem, which seems to be dissipating as I get older along with my good
looks... LOLOLOL !!
