In consideration of One dollar to me in hand paid the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged I convey and warrant to C.C. Smith and Drury Sims, Trustees
of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and their successors the land described as
a square lot embracing three acres with the church house now standing on said lot
as the center of the square being in the N. 1/2 of N.W. 1/4 of NE. 1/4 Sect 7, T 7,
R 8 East lying and situated in Scott County, Mississippi, Should said lot was to be
used for purposes therein and in that event it is to revert to me the grantor of this
conveyance.

Liberty Baptist Church Charter Members
The Liberty Baptist Church was organized on June 10, 1876 in A Bro.
D.A. Singleton's School House.
W.R. Butler, moderator of the association, presided. There were 16
charter members:
W.H. Futch T.H. Gould B.J. Stuart Nepsy Singleton Margaret Alabama Sims* David Adam Singleton James Singleton Luna Ann Smith H.P. Stewart Martha Smith M.J. Stewart John Myers America McGowan Pricilla A. Myers Charles Smith E.B. Gould W.J. was first pastor. Services were held once a month.
