Faye O. Rockwell, 80, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. Howard Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Rockwell was born in Bridgeport and moved to Amarillo in 1940. She was a homemaker and a sales clerk for JC Penney as well as a clerk for the church and school.

She was a member of United Transportation Union Auxiliary, the Wild Rose Lodge, the Pecos Valley Club, the Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church. She previously was a longtime member of Southeast Baptist Church.

She married Ed Rockwell in 1936 at Decatur. He died in 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Jones and Linda Ferguson, both of Amarillo; a son, Eddy Rockwell; a brother, C.B. Singleton of San Antonio; two sisters, Laverne Aman and Margaret Roberts, both of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family requests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, 2200 W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79106.
