Babcock and Sprock Take Folsom

26 teams blasted off out of Granite Bay to a beautiful day on Folsom Lake. The bite in the morning proved to be very good for most anglers, with many of the fish being taken on reaction baits and jigs. The fish were very active, and moving into prespawn mode. But, suprisingly, the big fish of the event was only 4.45 pounds. A lot of sold bags were weighed in, but in the end it was Dean Babcock and Rob Sprock taking home the win with 15.95 pounds and fish fish of the tournament. Their bag earned them $1,310, and enough points to move them into 4th place in the AOY standings. Great job guys!

Close behind in second place was the team of Barry Davis and Ben Rambeaut with 15.5 pounds. Their efforts got them $535, and 104 points. In third was Mark Derenne and Neils Jensen with a 13.95 pound bag, which got them $356 and 103 points.

Rounding out the top 5 was Frank Criscente and Gene Hise with 13.55 pounds, and Roger Carter and Don Newton with 13.30 pounds.
