Noticed that you come to AZ each Jan. NOT THIS YEAR!! It is cold!!! Of course the sun is warm, but it doesn't last lone!! We had a very cool summer too, only up to 113 one day, which is very record setting for this area! We stay here year 'round - been he e since '93. We miss "home" but with asthma, the dry air of AZ is the best medicine ever! Glad to be introduced to your site by my cousin! I'm sure I'll enjoy hearing more from you. I may even send you photos from our lefse party, unless my cousin has already done so! Have a God Yul! Pat Sallberg PS Would you believe - I married a Swede! And been married for 45 yrs!

Chef's Kitchen is one of the listings you have under Lefse-making supplies and equipment. They're customer service is terrible....they don't respond to email, they won't return calls (& yet someone answers at the phone to take my credit card #), they won't honor the 10% you have listed on your page ( o one knows anything about it), etc. I would never recommend them to anyone. I found their site through your web page, & just feel you should know they're not worth recommending. Thanks for all your other info though!

I grew up on an Island (Vashon)in Washington state where the mix was Scotish and Scandanavia. And my Mother father had come from Norway, and I grew up loving Lefse made by a wonderful lady who also made home made meals at the local elementary school, and on Saturday she would bake bread and once a month make lefse. I make it on occasion and will t is week. The way it was served was: Wet the lefse and set on a towel. Butter. Then sprinkle sugar and cinniiiiimon and roll up and slice. Such a wonderful simple treat. Well not simple to make... And people can keep the dumb jokes about Norway etc to themselves !! Beth

My grandmother used to make lefse alot when I was a kid. We used to eat it up like it was our "last supper". When she got older, she was unable to make it as much, so it was even more special when we did get it. We tried to get the recipe from her, and attempted to make it ourselves. Honestly, it didn't turn out half bad. Anyway, thank you.

You have done a great job, Terry! Must take a lot of work. My Dad worked for ADM all his life. I'm 65, so he's been gone a long time now.He was the Chairman of the Flax Development Committee for ADM out of Mpls. He did a lot to get the farmers in Mn a d North and South Dakota and Montana to grow flax as a cash crop. This was back during the second world war. I also love the Phoenix area where I have a brother living and have been to Sedona many times. Did you go to Jerome when you were there? If no , do it the next trip. Another sort of connection - our son Andy Anderson is a broadcaster on the Ames FM station. KLRX He does all the sports stuff. Up with lefse!

I had no idea that there had been so much written about lefse. I have enjoyed your site very very much. Thank You Pam Olston (I don't know where the 't' came from.)

your site has more compresive news and more current than the official corporate site, due to links to H&R, Forbes, & Fortune. I have often felt the official web site should be blessed with news releases simultaneously with news releases to WSJ or H&R. Could you link to WSJ news also? Maybe ADM should subsidize your operation. I'm now visiting you from both home and work.
