Buns! Louise Kuchuris of East Balt under the Golden Arches. Her grandfather Louis Kuchuris was a baker and in 1955 met Ray Kroc as Ray was surpervising the paving of the parking lot at his first franchise in Des Plaines. FIFTY years later East Balt is still supplying McDonald's with bakery goods - and still doesn't have a contract. That is how binding the handshake was between Louis and Ray! Photo by: J.P.
