God's Angels

"For He will command His angels concerning you to guard
you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11

What is an angel?

Angels help God by doing what God tells them to do.

Angels are VERY strong!

Angels only do good things.

Angels are happy all the time.

Angels are God's helpers and they help Him take care of YOU!

God made angels a long time ago.

God's angels sing praises to Him and they come to your home, your car, your school, and guard over you.

We can't see angels because they are not like you and me. We know that angels are close to us though because the Bible tells us so.

An angel told the shepherds in the field long ago that baby Jesus was born!

Angels were at the tomb on Easter morning telling the news that Jesus IS ALIVE!

A Special Prayer
Dear Jesus, Thank you for making the angels. Thank you Lord for sending the angels to watch over me. Jesus, I want to be a "helper" to you like the angels. I love you Jesus! Amen.

Activities:

Make an angel. Take a cupcake liner and press it down with your hand and slip this into a clothespin to form the angel wings. Draw a face near the top of the pin. You can hang a string around the top of the angel for hanging.

Make a kindness necklace. Draw several angels on paper and color them, and cut them out. Write on the angels some ways that you have seen "kindness" shown. Alternate macaroni with the angels on a piece of yarn. Tie the ends together and you have a beautiful reminder of how to help God.
