Our Thanksgiving Awards Page!
Our site
has been truly blessed by the Lord and we have received
some beautiful awards and reviews from other online sites.
We want to thank the Lord and give all the glory to Him.
We also
want to thank all of you for taking notice of our site.
Each of the awards is a link to another wonderful site. Please
take the
time to visit these sites.
All About Thanksgiving has been named the
Featured Site of the Week by
Priscilla & Aquila Ministries
for Novemeber 15th 1998 .
Thanks so very much to Believer's Weekly for this very generous review of our Thanksgiving site! For the week of 11/15/98All About Thanksgiving
This colorfully decorated page (and a long page it is - it takes a few moments to load) is full of all kinds of information about Thanksgiving, its history, and all the things that go with it. Do you know why the Pilgrims came to America? That most of the Pilgrims were not Puritans but Separatists? What did they wear? Who was William Brewster? Did the Indians have a Thanksgiving celebration? Did anybody else? All these questions and more are here for you to explore, many with links to additional sites with more detailed information. Okay, but what about the thing we think about most at Thanksgiving - FOOD! Headed by a turkey holding an "Eat more ham" sign, there is a host of links to satisfy your culinary curiosity. Remember, you can't put on weight just by looking at the screen... or can you? And of course, Thansgiving is family day! There are suggestions on how to bring home the message of Thanksgiving to your family and loads of stuff to entertain the kids. Rounded off by a recommended reading list and links to other Thanksgiving pages, All About Thanksgiving is a major resource for this holiday. Our thanks go to Debbie Perkins for her excellent work in bringing us All About Thanksgiving. Debbie can be reached at perkins@internetx.net. |
