WILLIAM BEASLEY
ca 1786 SC -- IL.

Searching for ancestors and info on WILLIAM G. BEASLEY (ca 1786 SC -- aft 1850 in either William Co. or Franklin Co., IL). I have doubts about the middle initial of "G.", since one of his sons was named William J. Jr. He moved to Robertson Co., Tn. and later to Williamson Co., IL. He mar ANN ??? (b ca 1787, NC). Their ch: SAMUEL MINTON BEASLEY (23 Jun 1814, Robertson Co., Tn.), WILLIAM J. BEASLEY Jr. (ca 1828, Tn.), MARTIN BEASLEY (ca 1831, Williamson Co., IL.) and HAROLD BEASLEY (ca 1835, Williamson Co., IL.). William and Ann died in either Williamson Co. or Franklin Co., IL. They are buried where the county line runs through the cemetery. William was reportedly a relation of HARRIET NUEL BEASLEY, wife of WILLIAM BAKER DORRIS. There have been lots of marriages between the Beasley, Clayton, Dorris and Smith families in that area. [EDITOR's NOTE: There was a John Beasley Sr. (1760 NC) who lived briefly in SC and then moved to Sumner Co., Tn. who had a son William b ca 1789 of whom I know nothing. You should check him out.]

MARK BEASLEY
1950’s Britain

I am trying to find MARK BEASLEY who would have been about 20 years old in the years 1976-78. He lived in the Reigate area, Surrey, England (United Kingdom) at that time, and married an air hostess soon after this. He worked in marketing - at one time for 'Masterguide Ltd' in Epsom, Surrey - and also for a supplier of cloth to the fashion industry. He used to play and sing in an amateur rock band called 'Prey'. I'm afraid I do not know anything about his immediate family. If anyone can help me in any way with this, I would be most grateful. Thank you.

WILLIAM FREDERICK BEASLEY
1844 England to Canton, Ma.

Looking for info on WILLIAM FREDERICK BEASLEY (b ca 1844 in England). He mar ANNIE (could be HALIVAN - HOLIVAN as written on their son's death certificate), also born in England. They immigrated to the United States and settled in Canton, Ma. where they had two ch: GEORGE HENRY BEASLEY (9 Jul 1867) and LILLIAN DALE BEASLEY (1870). William and his family were on the 1880 census at Canton; he was age 36 and a "Manufacturer of Essences". Annie died 17 May 1918 in Canton during the worldwide flu pandemic. I have no info on when nor where William died. George Henry mar MARY BARTO MERTZ from Berks Co., Pa. and had 3 ch: EVELYN BEASLEY, LILLIAN MAY BEASLEY and GEORGE DALE BEASLEY. I have been unable to learn where in England the family came from. My father, George Dale, remembers that William traveled to England with a brother, who left Massachusetts and moved to the Carolinas. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would like very much to trace them back to their home in England.

McKIEMAN were my grandparents. They moved from Kansas to Oklahoma in 1893. Mary Frances was an orphan and we knew nothing about her until a few years ago where I found someone who was a descendant of the same Beasley family. I have a copy of the marriage certificate of Mary Frances and Madison. I will add that I am 82 years old and may not have many years left to search for my ancestors.
