This portion of our History section is devoted to the Southern Conyers men and boys who defended their homes and served their Nation as soldiers and sailors in the Confederate States of America Army and Navy. If you have information or copies of records on your Conyers ancestor's military service, please send us copies of this information to preserve in the Family Library.

We will try to include every Conyers known to have served in the Confederate military forces that we have learned of.

Most of the military units of the South were organized into regiments and battalions. All the units below are infantry unless otherwise designated, such as Cav. for cavalry and Arty. for artillery.
