According to Leed Co census dated 1861, William was a farmer and wheelwright. He owned 100 acres of Land on the NW half of Lot 13 on concession 3.

Nellie Eliza is the daughter of John Thomas GIRDLER and Eliza Abby CARPENTER.
According to the "History of Littleton, NH", Rev Magwood came to the United States, when very young with his Mother and two sisters, Sadie and Margaret and settled in Whitefield, N. H. He was valedictorian of Whitefield High School and in 1897 graduated from Tilton Seminary. He was ordained Nov. 20, 1894. In 1911, he attended Boston University and earned an STB degree. His pastorates were inclusive of N.H, Me, and Mass.
