This is a hands-on class which builds on the material learned in the Beginners Web Page class. Discussion of how to download the many excellent free software programs available for web designers will be briefly re-covered. Students will write HTML for Lists, Tables, and Graphics. Basic graphics and animations will be used with discussion including techniques and the most efficient use of graphics for quick uploading of pages. There will be discussion about the potential of the newest Programming languages available including the use of Cascading Style Sheets, and DHTML codes. Frames versus no-frames will be addressed and sites viewed. Several Java Script and Java applets will be viewed and their source codes "decoded" with the student choosing which to create as "homework" for the last series of the class. Using the Student Site, specific questions that students have from their web page building experience will be discussed and solutions suggested. Prerequisites:
- Building a Web Page for Beginners
OR
- Web Hosts should already have been chosen and registration completed.
- Web-mail addresses should already have been chosen and registration completed.
- Some Web Page Construction Experience
