This is the personal web page of John Pearce. I am a semi-retired small animal veterinarian in Flint, Michigan. Now, as usual for people's personal web pages, the stuff here is more to entertain me than anyone else, but take a look around. Who knows? You might find something useful for you as well.

My main interests are Dungeons and Dragons, animals/pets/specifically cats, Coin Collecting, Genealogy, Movies, Baseball - Go Tigers!, and Lawncare/Gardening. Below you may or may not find links to pages concerning some of these areas. As of March 2006 I am revamping my website, so you might want to check back frequently if the link you want to see isn't here yet.

Astronomy - This page is mostly science related stuff, not science fiction. Before I went to veterinary school I completed my Master's degree in physics major, and I still have a strong interest in space and astronomy. Among other things it includes links to Astronomy magazine and Sky and Telescope. Plus a picture I took of comet Hale-Bopp.

Dungeons and Dragons (The Catacombs) - I admit it, I'm a dice-head. I played AD&D as a kid, and still love it as an adult (when I can find the time). Now-a-days its just more of an excuse to get all my old buddies together (sans wives) to hang out and just be guys. We're about to start a new campaign set in a world of my own creation, and I hope to use this as a tool to distribute information to my players.

Genealogy Interested in your family tree? This site lists (or will soon list) several links to places you can search for your ancestors, as well as my own personal family tree. Key names are Pearce, Hoffman, Airey, Lager, O'Brien, Shearer and Ziegler, but there are plenty more as I trace back. If you find any matches, let me know!
