1992 Accord Pictures
Here is me and a few of my friends on the way to "Hot August Nights" in Reno, NV. It's a huge car show (mostly older cars). I still like this show better than another other show. Mostly due to the fact that it's all my friends from high school getting together, the casinos, and just the fact that it's freaking huge! 100,000 + people.
Here I am as I pass my friend in his 5.0 Mustang. If the back looks a little low, it's because it is from the weight of passengers. I have the front jacked up too since it's an 800+ mile (one way) trip from Phoenix.
C-Ya!!! RRRRRRRRR!!!
Here is a shot of the motor after it was rebuilt. I just got the motor back from CarQuest (don't take your motor there!!!) and I'm about to put the rest of it back together.
I had to put the intake, T-Body, plenum, intake manifold, cruise control, alternator, power steering, all the belts, and CV joints back together. I had a problem with the throw out bearing in the clutch but basically it was running again from this point in under 5 hours.
Here is a good shot from the back. This is at my parents house in CA.
I really wished the day had been a little nicer. The car was super clean but it was cloudy so these pictures down make the car look as good as it did.
How about this angle. Actually I wasn't going to put this picture in due to a lot of duplicates but it's cool because it shows off our (my sister and I) tree house. My dad was quite the carpenter. He and a friend build their house from scratch. We used to play in this tree house for hours!!!
This is a pretty good side shot
And anther one directly from the rear.
Almost the same angle but this one has my dad in the background as he's walking away. I figured he should be on my webpage (even if it's just a little) as credit, since this kinda ruined the lawn. I had the car cranked down so far that when I backed off of the grass the unibody and exhaust took some of it with it.
Here is a shot of the rear tuck. This is when I still have the Bec-Techs in the rear. It would go a little bit lower (maybe an 1" more) but I didn't want to completely destroy the lawn. The airbags setup I had on the rear later when much lower, plus it was raise or lower on demand with a push of a button.
This is a nice shot from the rear.
This is my all time favorite picture of my car. I need to find the negative of this and get it blown up and put in a frame. Ah memories!!!
Damn I just wish I could drive around this low. I already got a lot of looks and dropped jaws but could you imagine what kinda of expressions on faces I would get if I drove around like this?
Some may say this doesn't look real low because not a lot is tucked. Well also remember that this is only a 16" (not a 17") wheel and it has 40 series tires. This wheel/tire combo is much smaller than stock and not only does it lower the car about an 1" more just from the diameter but I can lower the suspension about an 1" more from the fender clearance.
