Julia is the perfect baby. She consumes 4 oz. of formula at a time and then sleeps for hours afterward. She cries when she's hungry, of course, and when she's changed, but otherwise the only sound you'll hear is the purr of a contented kitten. She's a mellow little girl with pink skin, big blue eyes and soft brown hair. She looks a bit like Liam did when he was a newborn, but she's 100 percent girl.
Liam is proving to be a good big brother. He no longer asks, as he did upon first seeing his sister, when the "big lady from the hospital -- Julia's real mommy -- is coming to take her back". Sometimes the two will nap in synch, giving Mom and Dad a few hours of much needed down time.
Julia's first name comes from her great-great maternal grandmother, Julia Pinkham (the mother of Grandpa Roland Seaman, for those of you old enough to remember.). Rose, her middle name, was the name of Shirley McGuire's mother -- Julia's paternal great grandmother.
