Hello Lark:

I e-mailed the Canadian Federation of Independent Business on Friday with a brief note asking there position on the bear hunt.

The Vice President of Provincial Affairs, Judith Andrew has been dealing with the Minister's Office (Ryan Sword) on this issue. They want input from members of the CFIB with examples of concerns to forward on to the Minister's Office. Concerns such as loss of income, loss of value of business, employees that will not be called back, economic hardship to Northern Ontario communities, tourist outfitters, and all other businesses.

I believe it would also give CFIB a better understanding of this issue. They have a lot of political influence and could be beneficial to our cause.

I thought maybe you could put something up on your website about them.
