Local 3258
In accordance with our bylaws, Local 3258 held a special election to fill the vacancy created when Chris Agnitti left January 3 for the Dept of Transportation. At that time, we also elected new individuals to serve as Alternate RVP, and as Chief Steward.
As of April 3, Local 3258's Local President and Region I RVP is Nancy Hill. Nancy began her career at HUD many years ago as a clerk reader and secretary. She completed law school, and the agency subsequently hired her as an attorney. She works in the Massachusetts State Office.
Our new Alternate RVP is David Furie. Many of you know David, who has been an activist for many years. He also serves as Local 3258's VP for the Connecticut State Office.
Our new Chief Steward is Jim Polito.
Jim currently works in Housing's MF Division in Boston, and has previously
worked in Public Housing and as a Community Builder. He has
also been a Steward in the Boston Office since this past year.
