Marietta Invitational
Novice "A" defeated Grand Valley State(MI) by one and a half boat lengths, but fell short to Marietta(1st) and Ohio University(2nd)
Novice "B" lost by a narrow margin to Ohio University

Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships
Novice "A" boat finished 3rd in the first heat and qualified for semifinals, and placed 12th overall in a strong field of competitors
Novice "B" placed 2nd overall losing only to University of Virginia

Governor's Cup
Both Novice boats were in the same race and place 1st and 3rd respectively, winning the overall Novice Men's title. Collectively as a team we fell 13 points short of winning the entire regatta.

 Midwest Championships
The  novice "A" and "B" were both placed in the same race. Both novice "A" and "B" advanced to repechages where the novice "A" finished third to only Texas and Marquette, and the novice "B" took fourth behind Dayton, St. Thomas, and Northwestern.

Champion International Regatta
Congratulations to the novice "B" boat for qualifying for the Champion Regatta. Their boat will feature Shawn Wilson, Cory Kimball, Shun Yoshida, Brent Figg, Ed Pomfrey, James McKenzie, Daniel Boles, and Roger Rovekamp and Coxswain Eric Seto.
