            Vegetables 

        ASPARAGUS Help Treat ~ Arthritis, Cataracts, Constipation, Fluid retention,
        Skin problems, Tiredness and lethargy, Urinary infections, Vitamin and mineral
        deficiency, worms

          Internal use  Has asparagine which helps to eliminate toxins and excess fluid from
        the body. It is helpful for removing and cleansing urinary infections. It has beneficial
        effect on the intestines and the liver, the asparagusic acid has the ability to expel
        worms from the body and treats schistosomiasis,
        which is an inflammatory condition of the liver. Nutrition: folic acid, vitamins A,
        B complex, C, manganese,
        iron, phosphorus and protein. Its low calories, high in fiber.

        Hand and foot bath ~Recommended for stimulating the liver.
        2 oz (55g) asparagus rhizomes, washed
        2 oz (55g) asparagus, crushed
        3 1/2 cups (1 liter) water

        Place the asparagus and rhizomes in the water, bring it to the boil, and simmer for
        15 minutes. Strain and let the liquid cool to body temperature. Soak the feet for 8
        minutes in the morning and the hands for 8 minutes in the evening.

        BRASSICAS (includes cabbage, kale, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower,
        radishes, sea kale, turnips)

        *Caution: All brassicas should be avoided by people who have overactive thyroid
        glands. Sauerkraut is high in tyramine and this can sometimes trigger migraine
        headaches in susceptible people.

        Cabbage leaf poultice ~ Apply to the appropriate area to ease the pain of arthritis,
        cystitis, coughs or sore throats.

Use as many green leaves as possible, cutting out the middle ribs. Warm them in a
        little hot water, iron them (with a dish towel over the leaves), or hang them over a
        radiator until dry. Crush the dry leaves with a rolling pin and apply several layers,
        holding them in place with a bandage. Change the leaves every few hours.

        Cabbage Syrup ~ A soothing remedy for colds, coughs, bronchitis, and sore throats.
        6 oz (150g) cabbage leaves, finely shredded
        Honey to cover
       
        *
Cover the shredded leaves with honey. Let stand overnight and then press through
        a sieve to collect the syrup. Take 1 teaspoon (5ml) every 2 hours for as long as the
        symptoms persist. Store in the refrigerator.

          Internal use  Nutrients ~ Vitamin A, B, C, E, minerals calcium, sulfur, silica,
        magnesium, iodine, iron and phosphorus. It help slow down the effects of aging and
        their antioxidant vitamins help fight against cancer (broccoli, cauliflower, brussels
        sprouts) help fight against colon, the growth of polyps, breast, uterine and ovarian
        cancer if eaten regularly. Rich in iron and chlorophyll, they are good remedy for anemia.
        It is known for being a nerve tonic and treat anxiety, insomnia, depression, cirrhosis of
        the liver, lethargy, irritability, headaches hangovers and exhaustion. Cabbages were
        used by sailors to prevent scurvy, and good for pregnant women and breast feeding
        because it increases the milk production. It helps ease fluid retention, kidney stones,
        arthritis, and gout. It stimulate the immune system and production of antibodies. It
        stimulates the appetite and relieves constipation.

        Eating Raw cabbage ~ good cleanser to detoxify the system, clars skin problems such
        as acne and boils. It contains a substance glutamine that can help heal ulcers such as
        peptic ulcers and alcoholism.

          External use  Use the cabbage leaves as a soothing antiseptic. Cabbage leaf poultice
        is a traditional remedy for wounds, burns, scalds, boils, carbuncles, bruises, sprains,
        ulcers, blisters, cold sores, shingles, bites and stings. It anti-flammatory
        benefit swollen and painful joints, arthritis, gout, relieve pain from neuralgia, sciatica,
        toothache, headaches, migraine, and lumbago. Cabbage juice can be used as a gargle
        for sore throats, a lotion for burns, bites, cold sores, acne, impetigo, earache.

        CELERY Help Treat ~ Arthritis, Constipation, Gout, High blood pressure, High
        cholesterol, Mild depression, Stress, Urinary infections, Weak digestion

          Internal use  Lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels,dilates the arteries and
        reduces artery contraction in muscles. It is most useful in treating stress-related
        hypertension. It helps to enhace the elimination of excess fluid and toxins via the
        urinary system. Celery contains at least eight compounds that is effective against
        cancer such as stomach cancer, it neutralize the carcinogens. It is low in calories and
        high in fiber which ensure regular bowel movements. Both celery leaves and seeds apiol
        in their volatile oil which has a cleansing effect on the urinary system. The stalks are
        moderately nutritious, the top leaves are more nutritious since there is more calcium,
        iron, potassium, and vitamin A and C than the stalks.

        *Caution: Celery eaten either before or after vigorous exercise has been known to
        induce allergic responses in sensitive people.

        Celery Juice ~Drink half a glass first thing in the morning for 15-20 days as a remedy for
        rheumatic ailments.
* 4-6 celery stalks, removed the leaves and wash the stalks and
        extract the juice from juicer.

        GARLIC Help Treat ~ Asthma, Chest infections, Chilblains, Circulatory disease,
        Congestion, coughs, and colds, High blood pressure, High cholesterol, poor circulation,

        (leave overnight), burns, cuts, abrasions, toothache

        PEPPER SWEET PEPPERS Help Treat ~ Allergies, Cardiovascular problems,
        Respiratory infections

        HOT PEPPERS Help Treat ~ Congestions, coughs and colds, Chilblains, Fevers,
        Gastrointestinal infections, Inflammation, Neuralgia, Period pain, Poor circulation,
        Sinusitis. Hot peppers are stimulants that can increase circulation, increase sweating
        and enhance the body to fight off infection.
Cayenne pepper is a wonderful remedy for
        respiratory system. it decongest the chest and upper respiratory tract from suffiness,
        congestion, sinusitis. It despells tiredness, lethargy, nerous debility, and depression.
        It can ease the pain of toothache, shingles, migraine

          Internal use  Peppers are rich in beta-carotene & vitamin C, natural antioxidants
        that help to protect against degenerative diseases, cancer and cardiovascular
        (atherosclerosis, angina). They do contain bioflavonoids, phenolic acids and plant
        sterols that may help inhibit the formation of tumors. Eating raw peppers fight off
        colds, flu, coughs, and help protect against allergies (eczema, asthma)
