Sailormoon Series Summary

Sailormoon~

In the first series of the anime, Sailormoon is found by Luna. Luna is a black cat with a golden crescent moon on her forehead, one of the two cat guardians Queen Serenity had regarded as advisors. Queen Beryl of the Negaverse [*winces* anyone know the Japanese name?] is the enemy and Sailormoon is pitted against her energy-draining youma. Sailor Merury, Mars and Jupiter were all discovered by her later and Sailor Venus along with the other white cat advisor, Artimas, joined the group. All the Inner senshi were reunited in this series.

Sailormoon Romance (R)~

After defeating Queen Beryl, all five of the Senshi were reincarnated, losing all memory of their fight, of being senshi. They became ordinary, happy, schoolgirls. Then the Makaiju children appeared with their Doom Tree and the senshi were awakened by the cats to fight. After the resolution with the Makaiju in the middle of this series, the senshi come in touch with the future and of the invading forces of the Dark Moon. Usagi meets her future daughter, Princess Serernity of Crystal Toyko, 3000 years in the future where she is Neo-Queen Serenity and married to King Endymion. We discover Sailor Pluto in this series. Their enemy is the Wise Man, or the Death Phantom.

Sailormoon Super (S)~

This series is where Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus are looking for the three tailsman that would form the Holy Grail that the Messiah would use to save the Earth from the Silence. The Silence is the total destruction of the Earth at the hand of Mistress 9, the Silence Messiah, follower of Pharaoh 90. Professor Tomoe, who is working for them, is looking for the heart crystals where the talisman are contained. His daughter, Hotaru Tomoe holds Mistress 9 in her body, but Hotaru is really the reincarnation of Sailor Saturn... the Sailor senshi try to stop them from taking the heart crystals, and it's only when the Outer senshi, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto tell them, they understood what was going on.

Sailormoon Super Sailormoon (SS)~

This series focuses on Chibi-Usa than Sailormoon. In this, the Dead Moon Circus led by Queen Nephrenia are searching for the Golden Crystal in the horn of Helios, a winged unicorn, which would enable the dark queen to take over the Earth. You meet the Amazoness Quartet and their three helpers Tiger-eye, Fish-eye, and Hawk-eye.

Sailormoon Sailorstars~

This series is the most intense, where Sailor Galaxia and her Sailor Animates are looking for the star seeds. The three Sailor Starlights: Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Healer, and Sailor Star Maker appear in this one, searching for their Princess, Kakyuu. The enemy of this time is Chaos, who is controlling the most powerful Sailor senshi of the galaxy, Sailor Galaxia...
