About the author: LarBear
Well, this is for all you web-wanderer's who want to know about the person created this awsome WWW page. I'm 16/m and I personally enjoy playing soccer and basketball, skiing, (water in the summer, downhill in the winter) reading & watching science fiction, (Especially Star Trek, Star Wars, Highlander, and The X Files.) I also like learning about UFO and supernatural phenomena. That's probably why I like the X Files. I like watching T.V./Movies, and, the big surprise, playing on my computer! I especially enjoy surfing and chatting on the WWW, and writing HTML, as you can see. I like country music (and yes, I know some people will say it sucks, but that's your own oppinion and don't EVEN get me started on that.) some rap and R&B, rock/rock alternative, and I especially like swing. (Cherry Popin' Daddies/BBVD/etc.) My hobbies include leatherworking, and writing HTML. (BTW- if you want a Web page better than some generator can create, but you don't know HTML, I can create it for you on GeoCities. E-mail me at larbear@oocities.com for more information.) I live in Carson City, Nevada, and go to Douglas County High School. I'm in the band, and play percussion. (Bass 3 or 4 during marching season.) I moved here from Cheyenne, Wyoming in Jan. '98, and my band there (Cheyenne Central High School Marching Indians- GO CENTRAL!) "won" the 1997 Wyo. State Marching Festival!! (We got the most "caption" awards. 5 out of 6, including percussion!!!) We also placed second in the CSU (Colorado St. University) Field Show Competition. This year we (The DHS Fighting Tiger Marching Band) placed 3rd in the UNR Sierra Band Crusade, McQueen Marching Competition, and the Fairfield March of Champions. We also placed 1st at the Nevada Day Parade and also captured the Sweepstakes Trophy there. (To those that don't know, that means we are the BEST band in Nevada!) Another big part of my life is Scouting. I'm currently a member of troop 411 in the Nevada Area Council, but I have also been a member of Troop 116 in Long's Peak Council. I was in both Cub Scouts and Tiger Cubs, and I recently (Januray 20, 1998) recieved my Eagle Scout Rank. (For those of you who don't know, that's the highest rank in Scouting.) If you aren't a member of Boy Scouts, and are around the age of 11-12 (13 at the latest) you should join, as it is one of the greatest experiences you'll ever have. You can join if you're older, but you won't have as much of a chance to reach Eagle. Anyway, enough of the Scouting Stuff. Somewhere along in here, I'd probably put up a picture of myself, but I don't have a scanner so I can't put it on my computer and upload it to GeoCities. So here's a visual discription of myself and you'll just have to visualize it. I'm tall, 6'5" - 6'6", (I'm not sure- I grow too much, so I never am- well, maybe not too much. 8^) ) 230 lbs., dark brown hair, hazel eyes, white, (like it matters, just helping you viualize), ummmmmm... I guess that's all... Oh, if you have any questions about me, or want me to add something about myself, e-mail me at larbear@oocities.com!
