Star Trek: First Contact

First Contact was a very good movie. The special effects were excellent, as always. It was in very good keeping with the Star Trek tradition. There are a few problems with is though. For one, there is not enough thechnical data for us trekkies out here. I mean, they don't even tell us what class of starship the Enterprise-E is for goodness sake! Another thing is that they are too familiar with the Enterprise-E. We're just introduced to it, while they've been on it for probably 8 months to a year. And finally, it is too similar to being just another ST:TNG T.V. episode. Although the borg look a whole lot better becasue of the higher movie budget. The movie has it's good points too. I have to spoil at least one for those out there who haven't seen it yet. Deanna Troi gets drunk in the past by Zeframe Cochrane who gave her too much tequila. =) In spite of all it's down points, it is still a really good movie. I give it a big thumbs up!
