1985   Superman becomes an honorary member of the JLA, but declines official membership.
1985   Green Arrow and the Atom join the JLA.
1985   Metamorpho appears.
1985   The JSA comes out of retirement, meets JLA. JSA's Hawkman joins the JLA aftwerwards.
1985   Metamorpho rejects membership in the JLA.

1986   Martian Manhunter takes off for Space.

1987   JLA moves into the Satellite.
1987   Elongated Man and Red Tornado join
1987   Hawkgirl** and Zatanna join.

1989   Firestorm Joins. Green Arrow offers Black Lightning a Membership, gets turned down.

1990   Batman leaves and forms the Outsiders. 
1990   Atom and Flash leave 
1990   Martian Manhunter returns, triggering disbanding of JLoA by Aquaman, who soon also leaves the reformed League. 
1990   Vibe, Steel, Vixen, and Gypsy join. 
1990   JLA moves to the Bunker. 
1990   Infinity Inc. and its members appear.   (Obsidian, Nuklon) 
1990   Crisis, Satellite destroyed, Dr. Light appears. Red Tornado becomes an elemental. 
1990   Batman returns to League to teach and lead. 
1990   Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel make 1st  Public appearances. Wally West becomes Flash. 
1990   Steel and Vibe murdered during Legends.  League disbands. 
1990   Group of heroes band together- They will Be the New League.

1991   Maxwell Lord regroups the team from Legends. (Blue Beetle, Mr. Miracle, Dr. Light II, Guy Gardner, Capt. Marvel, Doctor Fate.) 
1991   Rocket Reds form in U.S.S.R. 
1991   Booster Gold joins. 
1991   Hawkman and Hawkgirl rejoin.

1992   Batman and Captain Marvel leave.
1992   Fire and Ice join.
1992    Captian Atom & Rocket Red join
1992   Justice League Europe forms, consisting of Captain Atom, Flash, Wonder Woman, Animal Man, Elongated Man, Metamorpho, and Rocket Red. The rest of the JLI becomes JLA.
1992   Breakdowns- Silver Sorceress dies.

1993   Superman leads JLA, Green Lantern (Hal) leads   JLE.  Bloodwynd (Martian Manhunter) and Maxima join. 
1993   Ray makes his first appearance. 

1994   Doomsday devestates JLA, Sonar's Defeat turns JLE into JLI. 
1994   Supermans funeral, Wonder Woman, Ray join JLA. 
1994   Martian Manhunter/Bloodwynd mystery revealed. 
1994   JLTF created. 
1994   Captain Atom returns. 
1994   L-Ronn returns inside Despero. 
1994   Judgement Day- Ice dies. 
1994   Zero Hour 

1995   JLA- Wonder Woman, Flash, Metamorpho, Hawkman (Katar Hal), Fire, Ice Maiden, Nuklon, Obsidian. 
1995   JLTF- Martian Manhunter, Gypsy, Ray, L-Ronn, Mystek (joins later) 
1995   Extreme Justice- Captain Atom, Maxima, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Amazing Man. 
1995   Mystek dies 
1995   "Wonder Twins" come to Earth 

1996   Three JL teams disband. 
1996   Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman restart team. 
1996   JLA satellite II is destroyed. 

1997   Metamorhpho dies. 
1997  New Moon base built.
1997   Tomorrow Woman appears, joins, & dies.
