We are activating the sleep fields, so that your flight will be as comfortable as possible.

Welcome to the Fifth Element Links Page. Here you will find more places to go, people to see...more and more as time goes on. I review sites and put up comments on them before posting them here, so if you ask for a link be patient...it may take a day or so. I usually suffer a bit of depression after I review your sites. It makes me feel bad that they're all so much better. I highly reccommend all of the sites listed here, but especially be sure and check out the official site and Marc's site. Enjoy, and I hope you decide to come back and visit me here...I'll be making additions and improvements while you sleep. Danko for visiting. Y'all come back, now!

Official 5th Element Site -- Lots of info for people willing to search. Lots of pics, email Luc Besson (for all the good that does -- sorry, personal gripe), read interviews, etc. Nice site. Very nice. Of course I imagine it's well funded, eh?

Official 5th Element Site (UK) -- IMHO, *better* than the int'l site listed above. Features a cool screen saver you can DL, a more imaginative layout, and it looks like it has actually changed in the past, unlike the stagnant site listed above :-) Trouble is, it can be slow across the ocean in the US. It's worth the wait.

Review of T5E -- This review will make any other reviews you have read, especially mine, look like filth. Dirt. Crap even. This enormously perceptive and resourceful individual has written...no, composed is a better word for it, a "review" of The Fifth Element. This review is the kind that makes you go "that's right!" and other things while you read it. If you don't read this at least once through, you can't truly call yourself a 5E freak, if that's what you want people to call you ;-)

Kalisto Software 5E Video Game Site -- Get your information on the game straight from the developer itself. The website reports that the game will be released sometime in Spring of '98. System requirements look rather high -- but look at those graphics!!

Marc's Site -- Hot diggety dog, if you miss this site you might as well skip all of 'em!!! Considered by many net5th fans the best 5th site on the 'net, it has been up for over half a year and contains so much great information it'll make your head spin (if it's on that loose to begin with :-)). Like I said, if you go nowhere else...go here.
Unfortunately, no update for a long time

The Fifth Element Link55 -- OK, this guy has links. So what, you say? He has a LOT of links. Not to mention a ratings system, and nice commentary on each individual site. He is working on adding each and every single 5th site that there is to his page, and he has a damn good start on it. If you know of any sites to add to his monster links list, be sure and let him know when you drop by. A really cool idea.
...probably best place for news these days

American Cinematographer -- The online edition of American Cinematographer magazine featured two really cool articles on The Fifth Element. This link goes to the index page. The articles go into detail about the filming techniques, lighting, and even film types used in the cameras. Check this one out.

Generic's Divine Language Page -- Everyone seems to be going on about Leeloo's language. I admit, I'm interested too...this is the first site I came across with good language info. He sure beats MartinJL, who has claimed for the past 3 months to have an "official copy" of the Divine Language, and for the last month has said that he'll put it up "tommorrow, with any luck". Anyway, Generic has had a run-in with Gaumont so if this site goes down I'd appreciate knowing about it. I know it ain't the only site, but it's the nicest I've seen dedicated to the language so far.

Darr's Fifth Element Site -- Another fellow geocitizen (isn't that cliche) has put up a good page, with opinionated material relating to the movie. I like opinions. He has many(!!) original pictures, eg: modified pictures, on his site. Definitely worth a look. The "review" has probably the best plot summary I've read so far.

Meat Popsicle's Perfect Fifth Element Repository -- Heh, say that three times fast. Besides the supernifty name, this site definitely has a lot to offer. It features a rated 5th Element Links area (I fear I'll never see my site there, but oh well) and is the home of the Fifth Element Webring, of which my site is proud to be a part of, and the Fifth Element Mailing List. The site also has a lot of cool graphics, and the lil "5th" icon that can be used for the webring (red 5, toroid rotating around it) blows my lil animation away, IMHO.

MarkV's 5E Page -- This site featured I contest to win a special-edition Fifth Element soundtrack...which I didn't win, sorry to say. There were ten pretty difficult questions -- which I got all of -- followed by a drawing. Guess whose name didn't get picked :-) The site has a lot of cool pictures on it, good opinion of the movie, and dig the background music man.

The Fifth Page -- Hey, dig the retouched images on this guy's site. The work that has gone into graphics on this page is commendable, especially compared to my crude retouching and simple icons. This page will blow your hair into an Elvis "do". Dig it. I *love* the retouched Diva pic...so much clearer than the original than you'd believe, especially viewed at 24bit.

Fifth Element Quake II TC -- This page is now BACK and looking better than ever. The old Quake I TC for deathmatch is gone, now there is a new project from scratch for a Quake II TC (Total Conversion). Check it out. Should be interesting to see how this project goes in relationship to the one further down on these links...and, of course, how these compare to the "official" Fifth Element video game being released by Kalisto.
Doesn't appear to work...email me if you've got info

The Fifth Element Worship Page -- Pretty good site with a really cool "fan wall", where you can sign and put lotsa info about YOU on there so that nosy folks (like me) can read all about you and send you hate mail :-) Just kiddin'. Also has opinionated information on the soundtrack, a bunch of really nifty little bits about the movie you may or may not know, etc. He doesn't think the Diva is that important but I guess I'll link his site anyway ;-) Really it's a pretty cool site...

Carl's Fifth Element Page -- Still under construction, this page shows a lot of promise. This site blows my layout clean off the face of the Earth :-)

Ziggy's 5E Page -- This site has come into its own element recently, with a new design and a promising news section (admittedly better than mine). It's still under development and appears to have some very ambitious plans for itself :-) This one is worth a visit.

Paul's 5th Element Page -- Has a nice page with animated GIFs on it, some links and pictures as well.

Thamus: F i f t h E l e m e n t -- Excellent site with a great presentation and lots of game screenshots you may not have seen before, as well as in depth information on the "Access" Fifth Element Swatch that was featured at the Cannes Film Festival where 5E premiered. Check this site out!

The 5th Element Prop Page -- Unique page, features a lot of information on various props etc used in the movie, on things like the Mondoshawan, police, hotel, etc.

The Fifth Element Soundtrack Paradise -- Wow. That's how I'd describe it. Beautiful, AND lots of useful and unique information. Hey, don't thank me -- only the best for y'all :-) Thank the dude who made it. Has MIDI files from the soundtrack.

The Fifth Element Interactive Quake Movie -- Here's a site with another attempt at a TC (total conversion) for Quake, except it's for Quake II, and it looks to be a LOT more serious than the other attempt. Follow this site if you're interested!

The Cockroach Hideout Inn -- This page has a lot of sounds and a few pictures from the movie, and shows signs of expanding further in the future...the sounds alone make it worth a look, though.

The Fifth Titanium Element -- This one's a real knee slapper! A funny take off of our favorite flick. It's really funny, dammit, go look! Very well done.

Windsabre's Fifth Element Page -- Great site with lots of character information on it as well as various pictures, a sound page, live chat and various info on the movie. No links page, though.

Want the script?? Well, you can DL it ZIPPED from this site, or DL it in TEXT format from another server. It is the August '95 draft, in its entirety. The ZIP is a little less than half the file size of the TEXT one.

Actor/Actress Links

Do you like Milla Jovovich (perhaps better known to you as Leeloo) a little too much? How about (for the females only, hopefully) a hopeless crush on Gary Oldman? You'll find what I think are the nicest fan pages linked here. Have fun!

Moment of Epiphany
Milla Jovovich Fan Page -- Both of these sites are excellent sites dedicated to Milla Jovovich and each offer a unique view of the actress. If you're a fan, I really recommend that you visit both of these sites and not just one.

Gary Oldman -- Very detailed. If you want to know something about Mr. Oldman, this is where I would go to first. He does such an amazing job acting the villain, eh?

Luc Besson -- The devotion demonstrated by this individual is quite startling. This site probably has everything you'll want to know about Luc Besson, including a biography, interviews, film tidbits. You name it...

Bruce Willis -- There aren't very many good sites on this actor (why?), but here's a pretty good one for you to check out. On good ol' Geocities, isn't that swell?? Check it out.

Maïwenn Le Besco -- An obscene lack of information is present on this wonderful actress, who portrayed the Diva Plavalaguna in The Fifth Element. My tiny page is sincerely all that there is -- well, all I could find after literally hours of searching -- on the Internet that is dedicated to her. If anybody knows ANYTHING at all about this actress, tell me please!

This links page is always under construction, always changing. I add links as I see them after taking a look so I can put a description. No useless links, no links to link pages, no crap, no bull, no kiddin'. If you have a site that you believe warrants my attention (even if it IS better than mine, as I know most of them are) or links that don't work, gimme a holler at:

telepath@galaxycorp.com

The more info that is available, the more people I can help enlighten about this incredibly obscenely great movie. Thanks for your support of these fellow Fifth Element Freaks' pages!
