Cable is interrogated by Commando, Blob, and Pyro of Freedom Force. They reveal that the MLF stole tritium, a radio active element used to make H-bombs. They offer Cable's freedom in exchange for working with them to get the tritium back. Cable refuses the deal and later escapes by duping two guards, eluding Blob, Pyro and Super Sabre, and stealing a helicopter. Meanwhile, nothing was wrong with X- Factor's ship. The New Mutants arrive on board and greet the X-Factor team. Rictor has taken a fancy for Wolfsbane, following their trip to Asgard which makes Boom Boom jealous, but to everyone's surprise a very different looking Moira Mac Taggert orders Wolfsbane to return home to Scotland immediately.
