While trying to find food, Jubilee runs into two magistrates and a mutant tracker. She runs, but leads them right towards Rictor and Boomer. Despite their loss of powers, they are not helpless. They take out the guards and rescue the mutate. On other parts of the island, X-Factor prepares their strike, undetected due to some of Forge's devices and Hodge prepares to turn Rhane into a mutate. Rictor, Boomer and Jubilee enter a house looking for food, but learn of Rhane's transformation from a television conveniently left on. Rictor vows to get them and they head back towards the citadel. Upon arrival, they see Cable, Sunspot, Cannonball, Jean, Gambit and Forge in struggle. Cameron Hodge arrives with Wipeout, to turn the battle for the worst and they are taken as powerless captives. The magistrates recover the mutant tracker, but he helps to conceal Rictor and Boomer's location against his programming. Hodge comes in with Rhane to taunt his new captives with their intended fate. The sight of Rhane drives Rictor to rage. His plan of action is to find Wipeout, to get their powers back and then to shake down all of Genosha.
