Seven minutes after the explosion, Cable is washed down a waterfall carrying the body of Domino (?). She was the one to override Cable's voice command. He damns her and Tolliver swearing payback, thinking that his students are dead. Three miles down the river, X-Force survives. Sam extended his blast field to protect everyone, but they think that Cable is dead. Weapon Prime does not take defeat easily as Kane pulls a gun and forces them to surrender as massive S.H.I.E.L.D. forces emerge on the horizon. In the mountains, Crule looks on thinking his task of killing Cable and getting to Cannonball is half done. Cable bodyslides to the Professor, where he is welcomed to Graymalkin. Professor confirms that the others are alive, but he is unable to bodyslide them at this time from E/M interference created by S.H.I.E.L.D.. He loads Vanessa/Domino into a mini jet and sets off in rage. Meanwhile X-Force does not come quietly for their would be captors. They take out the soldiers and gain control of their aircraft to make an escape. In the skirmish, Rictor defects to X-Force's side after Kane threatens to hurt his friends. Since he believes Cable is gone, he wants to be back with his team mates. Back at Gideon's lab, Dr. Leah performs the "solar absorption" experiment on Sunspot. He and his assistant feel it is unsafe, but they fear Gideon more than the results. Back at the stolen ship, the team lists their options for a new base and decide on the abandoned reservation home of Warpath in Arizona, but lurking outside the ship is Crule. He rips his way in and heads for Sam. In Sicily, Cable forces Domino(?) to lead him to Tolliver. They sneak in through a sewer grate, but are met by Pico and an energy whip. Cable makes short work of him, but to his surprise, he runs into the real Domino. Vanessa seems surprised too, thinking she was dead. She is about to tell more when Deadpool stops her dead. With Tolliver in the background, Deadpool then tells Cable "it's time to die !!".
